Dear Advisory Committee Representative,
[This announcement will be forwarded to W3C group chairs]

This is a Call for Review of a proposed recharter for the Media and
Entertainment Interest Group:
https://www.w3.org/2023/09/meig-charter-2023.html

Please review the charter and indicate your support using this online form:
https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/33280/meig2023/

The deadline for responses is 03:59 UTC on 3 October 2023 (23:59, Boston
time on 2 October 2023)[0].

The mission of the Media and Entertainment Interest Group is to provide
a forum for media-related technical discussions to track progress of
media features on the Web within W3C groups and use of Web technologies
by external organizations, and to identify use cases and requirements
that existing and/or new specifications need to meet to achieve improved
support for media services on the Web.

The changes from the previous charter are:
* Collaboration on the Media Accessibility User Requirements (MAUR) has
been explicitly added within the Collaboration with the APA WG
* Newly created Audiovisual Media Formats for Browser CG has been added
   to the Collaboration section

Proposed team resource for the group remains unchanged at 0.1 FTE.

Current participants will not need to re-join the group if the new
charter is approved.
