Survey: HTML5 vs. native streaming media applications

MEIG Members,

As we’ve discussed in prior meetings, HTML5 vs. native streaming media applications is a choice between a standardized approach and a more performant approach, especially in constrained environments such as Smart TVs. The CTA Web Application Video Ecosystem (WAVE) project would like to know your company’s opinions on this topic to help guide our standards work, which I know is of interest to both WAVE and the MEIG.
