Minutes from Media Timed Events call 20 September 2021

Dear all,

The minutes from the Media & Entertainment IG, Media Timed Events call on unbounded cues in WebVTT are available [1].

We discussed backwards compatibility of unbounded cues with existing parsers and whether, for timed metadata, whether the unbounded nature of a cue could be handled as part of the application-level data model and. In segmented media cues may be repeated between segments using the segment timing as cue start and end times.
