Dear all, As next week is Golden Week in Japan, I suggest we postpone the next MEIG meeting to Tuesday 11th May at 14:00 UTC. So far, we have the following agenda items: 1. Follow-up on Multicast Receiver API from last month's call https://www.w3.org/2021/04/06-me-minutes.html#t03 2. Unbounded cues in WebVTT: use cases and requirements We want to gather technical use cases and requirements to inform design decisions when using unbounded cues, such as: - WebVTT syntax for unbounded cues - Processing model for updating unbounded cues - Backwards compatibility with existing WebVTT parsers - Uniquely identifying cues across multiple VTT files, e.g., when used in segmented media delivery See https://github.com/w3c/webvtt/issues/496 and discussion from our Media Timed Event TF calls: https://www.w3.org/2021/03/15-me-minutes.html#t02 https://www.w3.org/2021/04/19-me-minutes.html#t01 The scope includes WebVTT, delivered either as files or when carried in media containers If you have any items to add to the agenda, please reply here or you can contact the chairs directly. I'll send a calendar invite soon. Many thanks, Chris
