I am pleased to announce that the Media and Entertainment Interest Group [1] has published "Requirements for Media Timed Events" as an updated IG Note: https://www.w3.org/TR/2020/NOTE-media-timed-events-20200625/ This document collects use cases and requirements for improved support for timed events related to audio or video media on the web, where synchronization to a playing audio or video media stream is needed, and makes recommendations for new or changed web APIs to realize these requirements. Thanks a lot for your hard work and great contributions, the Editors, the Chairs and the whole group! All, please review the draft and contribute using the following Issue site on the group's GitHub repository: https://github.com/w3c/me-media-timed-events/issues/ General comments should be sent to this list <public-web-and-tv@w3.org>, the public email list for the group.
