W3C M&E IG conference call: 4th February 2020

Dear all,

The next Media & Entertainment Interest Group conference call will be on Tuesday 4th February.

There are two parts to this meeting:

- Bullet Chatting Task Force, to continue the use case and requirements analysis (first 30 minutes)
- Joint Meeting with the Web of Things Interest Group (60 minutes)


We'll hear an introduction to Web Of Things (WoT) and current status of the WoT Interest Group and Working Group, and discuss media related use cases for Web of Things, including media devices as edge devices for WoT, and video streaming data for WoT.


I expect we'll touch on existing and in-development media device protocols such as DLNA, Hybridcast Connect, W3C Open Screen Protocol, HbbTV Companion Screen, etc.
