Note the [proposed new charter for the Second Screen Working Group](https://w3c.github.io/secondscreen-charter/) would put the standardization of the Open Screen Protocol in scope of the Second Screen Working Group. This proposal needs support to move forward though. Members interested in seeing progress on this topic are strongly encouraged to work with their Advisory Committee representatives to [review the draft charter and indicate support for it](https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/33280/sswg-charter-2019/).
