Dear all, The next Media & Entertainment Interest Group conference call is on Tuesday 4th December. The IG co-chairs want to cover the agenda item from the TPAC F2F meeting that we weren't able to cover at the time. The topic is Perspective on Media & Entertainment for the Web, hosted by François Daoust. Most discussions in the Media & Entertainment Interest Group focus on individual technical topics. Would it be useful to take a step back and look further into the future to identify longer term requirements and priorities? François will present his perspective on Media & Entertainment for the Web [1] and ask the group for feedback and willingness to continue this type of Next Big Thing exercise. Support slides are at [2]. The agenda for the meeting is: - Welcome and call for AOB (5 min) - AOB topics (5-10 min) - Media Timed Events TF update - Media WG progress update - Perspective on Media & Entertainment for the Web (45 min) - Presentation - Open discussion [1] https://tidoust.github.io/me-vision/ [2] https://www.w3.org/2018/Talks/TPAC-2018/fd-me-vision/ We hope you can join us. # Date and time Tuesday, December 4, 2018 10:00 am | EST (New York, GMT-05:00) | 1 hours https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=Media-Entertainment-IG&iso=20181204T15&ah=1 # Connection details Please see: https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/member-web-and-tv/2018Sep/0001.html (member-only link) Kind regards, Chris (Co-chair, W3C Media and Entertainment Interest Group)
