One of the main use cases for me would be the ability to synchronize content changes outside video to frame changes in the video. As a simple example, [the test case](https://daiz.github.io/frame-accurate-ish/) in the frame-accurate-ish repo shows this with the background color change. In my case the main thing would be the ability to accurate synchronize custom subtitle rendering with frame changes.
