Hi Chris The workshop looks indeed interesting and useful but the timing is really bad as it is the same week as the MPEG meeting in South Korea, which means you will be missing some good amount of participation from the MPEG community especially about regarding the new media technologies. I am wondering whether there is any flexibility to move the workshop a week earlier or later. Cheers, -acbegen > -----Original Message----- > From: Chris Needham [mailto:chris.needham@bbc.co.uk] > Sent: Friday, November 17, 2017 3:16 PM > To: public-web-and-tv@w3.org > Subject: W3C Workshop on Web5G: Aligning evolutions of network and Web > technologies > > Hi all, > > W3C have just announced an upcoming workshop: "W3C Workshop on Web5G: > Aligning evolutions of network and Web technologies" on Jan 22-23 in London > [1]. > > This is a good opportunity for members of the Interest Group to discuss > requirements for A/V media distribution on the Web over 5G networks, with > applications in online video, real-time communication, VR and AR.
