Dear Giuseppe, Daniel,

In the Web and TV IG call last week, I agreed to provide a list of the
HTML5 bugs reported by HbbTV. Here it is including some commentary on the
status.

24161 - <track> short duration cues fail to reach the application

(This was reported to WHATWG as
https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=24382).
The proposed solution here is a work-around which doesn't actually solve
the problem, particularly in the case of live TV where cues may be created
a very short time before they are to be used.

24859 Automatic Video and Audio Track Selection Based on User Preferences
and Terminal Characteristics

The solution referenced in the WHATWG issue is OK for HbbTV. We hope it can
get brought back into the W3C HTML spec which is what we reference.

24862 Disabling Subtitles Based on Users Changing Preferences in the UA

HbbTV owes a response on this issue.

25427 Video element playback position and live content

This is a brand new issue, just filed today.
