Our demo is a physical box - with some software which we hope to open at some point soon.

IIRC the hardest part was to get fluid and responsive display of video from a broadcast tuner as a primary "layer" of the interface. The rest, the actual HTML5 bit, was fairly easy to work on and control. We've mostly used it to prototype user experience around TV authentication. There's a write-up about that on our blog:
