I read the your side [1]..
I see that you have a concern that Web Intent Local Services [2] does support existing UPnP devices without a proxy, but it is because it is designed to extend the concept of WebIntent [3] to local services. So, the Network Service Discovery [4] was proposed to fill the HNTF requirements R1 and R2 at page 6 of [1], I think.
About R3 and R4, I remember HNTF has discussed such local P2P communication. I would like to know other people’s opinions about extending Network Service discovery [4].
