Hi IG participants, As some of you already know, there will be an ITU-T workshop on "Harmonization of Web and IPTV Technologies" in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on 19 and 21 July 2011. As their Web page [1] says, the objectives of this workshop includes harmonization of W3C technologies and ITU-T technologies. And the workshop organizers asked us (=the IG co-Chairs and the Team Contacts) to attend the workshop and give some talk on the Web and TV IG's work. Unfortunately, this time only Yosuke and myself are available, so we'd like to attend the workshop and talk about the following: - Yosuke: Web and TV from broadcasters point of view - Kaz: Update on Web and TV in W3C Please note that there will be a dedicated panel session about harmonization between W3C and ITU-T, and we're expected to join the session. Please let me know if you have any specific idea about what should be discussed during the panel session. Any suggestions and/or comments are very welcome.
