Microsoft Bi-weekly Discussion, PARAKEET & MaCAW

Hi all,

I wanted to send out a reminder that our biweekly PARAKEET discussion<https://github.com/WICG/privacy-preserving-ads/issues/3> is tomorrow Wednesday, May 5th at 5 pm CEST / 11 am EDT / 8 am PDT.


Our plan is to discuss the following GitHub issues:

  *   Allow malicious ads prevention scripts to scan Parakeet ads for malicious activities- #17<https://github.com/WICG/privacy-preserving-ads/issues/17>
  *   Request to outline the total expected latency before an ad is rendered via Parakeet- #18<https://github.com/WICG/privacy-preserving-ads/issues/18>
  *   How do we expect Programmatic Guaranteed and other Private auctions to work through Parakeet -#19<https://github.com/WICG/privacy-preserving-ads/issues/19>

Hi All,

I'm excited to announce that Microsoft has published Multi-party Computation of Ads on the Web<https://github.com/WICG/privacy-preserving-ads/blob/main/MACAW.md> (MaCAW<https://github.com/WICG/privacy-preserving-ads/blob/main/MACAW.md>), a supplement proposal to PARAKEET, which is a framework that uses secure computation to overcome some of the limitations of the original PARAKEET proposal.

We look forward to presenting the proposal during an upcoming Web Advertising Business Group call. We also encourage interested parties to open issues<https://github.com/WICG/privacy-preserving-ads/issues> against the GitHub repository and attend our Bi-weekly PARAKEET discussions<https://github.com/WICG/privacy-preserving-ads/issues/3>.
