[WCAG2ICT] PLEASE RESPOND by 28 Oct. 3 PM EDT: CfC to agree to changes to 2.4.2 Page Titled guidance

Hi all,

Those who attended the extra Friday WCAG2ICT TF meeting reached an agreement on language for applying 2.4.2 Page Titled to non-web documents and software. We had been working in a Google doc<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1qFOc8cip3tKbH35XsxwYpZXxycLMhVgblbabg5V4UCY/edit?tab=t.0#heading=h.t9e127qed266>, and made a few modifications to Proposal 3. We then adjusted the non-web software alternate requirement to have more consistent language between non-web software and non-web documents. I have since updated PR 793 using the language we agreed in the meeting.

Since we didn’t have a quorum to make a resolution to incorporate the agreed text, this is a call for consensus to update to WCAG2ICT guidance on applying 2.4.2 Page Titled.

Please respond to this email by 28 October at 3 PM Eastern Time with a +1, 0 or -1 regarding agreement to incorporate PR #793<https://github.com/w3c/wcag2ict/pull/793/files>, as-is, into the WCAG2ICT editor’s draft.
