Hi, I'm starting work on my second action item from Monday September 12 WCAG Team C teleconference, and am using the Guide Document Template [1] as a reference. I have a few questions on some of the instructions/terms of this template: (1) Are "key terms" restricted to terms already found in the WCAG Glossary (as is implied) or can terms not currently in the Glossary but possibly important to understanding the success criterion be also included in this section? (2) What is the meaning of "background information" in "Intent of this SC" section of template? What kind of background information? Is there an example of such background information for a specific success criterion? (3) What is the scope/purpose of "Related Resources" Section? Related in what sense/context? Can these resources be those listed with documented techniques or should they be other resources not found with a specific technique? What criterion would be used to list a resource in the "Related Resources" Section? (NOTE: "background information" is listed again in this section, as it is also in the "Intent" section - duplication?) I would really appreciate any answers to these questions. Thanks and best wishes Tim Boland NIST [1]: http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/2005/08/wcag-templates/guide-doc.htm PS1: I think it would be really helpful to me to have a complete example of a Guide Document for a specific success criterion as an illustration.. PS2: I have previously raised the issue of exactly how an option would be "deemed sufficient" (in "Techniques for Addressing.." section), but any guidance would be welcomed..
