Here's my draft of the guide doc for GL 2.5 Level 2 SC 3. I ran into a few issues: - I had trouble with the scenario of modifying data in a remote data store because that doesn't seem like a serious issue to me. You can just modify the data again if you get it wrong. Should we propose removing this phrase from the SC? - I had trouble with the second bullet "Actions are checked for errors before going on to the next step in the process". See notes in the draft. - Some of the general techniques from the harvest don't seem to apply: a. Dividing processes into steps and allowing forward and backward nav. <als: this could be a technique for the second bullet if it were reworded something like: Information can be checked by users for mistakes at interim steps in the process.> b.Return a new form with only the incorrect fields available <als: This doesn't seem to apply to this success criteria which is about user "mistakes" not user "errors".> c. Programmatically provide supplemental information - tooltips with additional info or help <als: this goes with the Level 3 SC> (See attached file: Guide to Guideline 2_5 Level 2 Success Criterion 3.htm) Andi andisnow@us.ibm.com IBM Accessibility Center (512) 838-9903, http://www.ibm.com/able Internal Tie Line 678-9903, http://w3.austin.ibm.com/~snsinfo
