[BBC] I've added all the to-do items on 1.2 for this round of drafting to a list at <http://trace.wisc.edu/wcag_wiki/index.php?title=Team_A_Work_Page#Guideline_1.2>. There are rough drafts for 6 of the SMIL techniques and I believe the rest need to be drafted from scratch. > Also see my notes in red and marked GV: below. Do you agree?? > 1.2.2: Agree with Greggs proposals 1.2.3: I've added the SMIL techniques for 1.2.1 to 1.2.3 in the wiki per Gregg's request. However, I'm not sure that the techniques would be the same for static vs. real-time captions in SMIL? Any SMIL experts on Team A that can help? 1.2.4: The technique Gregg highlighted and asked about tech-specific techniques for, (Providing a synchronized video of the sign language interpreter that can be displayed in a different viewport or overlaid on the image by the player, using a technology-specific technique) seems to be a case where we wouldn't need tech-specific techniques because this is simply recommending that you use a technology that makes it possible to display multiple video streams simultaneously. Suggest that we add links to the resources section of this technique when it is drafted that point to various technologies that allow this and shorten this title to read: <proposed> Providing a synchronized video of the sign language interpreter that can be displayed in a different viewport or overlaid on the image by the player </proposed> -Ben -- Ben Caldwell | <caldwell@trace.wisc.edu> Trace Research and Development Center <http://trace.wisc.edu>
