Dear RDWG, As discussed, one way forward for RDWG is to become a Task Force of the Accessible Platform Architectures (APA) Working Group. This would allow our research explorations to be more closely connected with the ongoing W3C specifications review that the APA group carries out regularly, to identify potential accessibility issues. However, our perspective would be longer-term, to also identify technology trends and potential impact on accessibility. The two efforts would be complementary. Please find a proposed charter for this combined effort for comments: - http://www.w3.org/2015/04/draft-spec-charter For reference, the previously proposed RDWG charter is available here: - http://www.w3.org/WAI/RD/charter4 Please send your thoughts and feedback to the list for discussion. Best, Shadi -- Shadi Abou-Zahra - http://www.w3.org/People/shadi/ Activity Lead, W3C/WAI International Program Office Evaluation and Repair Tools Working Group (ERT WG) Research and Development Working Group (RDWG)
