Inclusion by Design / Planning the Barrier-free World Visit our Website to Learn More About the Congress Program! (Montreal, January 8, 2001) - It is now possible to surf the Program Announcement for the Inclusion by Design / Planning the Barrier-Free World Congress event hosted by the Canadian Council on Rehabilitation and Work from June 1-5, 2001 in Montréal. At this website address: www.ccrw.org, you will learn about confirmed congress activities such as the 4 plenary sessions and over 50 workshops. These activities will cover the principal societal stakes of a society that often excludes people of all ages rather than including them. The five continents will be represented at this premier event in Canada. In addition to focusing on the fine points of the tendencies in regards to universal and inclusive design, the participants will ratify an International Declaration that will summarize the prospects clarified during the event. To help us promote the Congress, the website heading "How to help us?" provides illustrations of our signature that you can reproduce at your convenience. Registration is available online and early bird rates are available before March 15, 2001. - 30 - For further information, please contact: Irène Langis (514) 486-5141 irene.langis@sympatico.ca www.ccrw.org
