Dear Shadi, all, The document now looks in quite good shape, only two minor comments and some other which are (really) editorial: Section: 1.1 Audience and scope of this document, last sentence Suggested change: I wonder whether procurers of accessibility evaluation tools also a secondary audience (secondary, in any case) Section: 2.1.3 DOM Document fragments Suggested change: are DOM Document fragments technology-specific? What if the tool just uses SAX (stream-oriented) or other, programming-language-specific APIs? I think (although I am not sure), we are indeed referring to XML parsed entities <http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-xml/#TextEntities> Editorial comments follow: Section: Introduction, last sentence Current wording: "...there are other resources within W3C more adequate for that purpose." Suggested change: provide a link to those other resources Section: overall document. Current wording: in some sections it reads "you"/"your"; while in others sections second person never appears. It seems as if there were two styles. Suggested change: revise coherent usage of 2nd person throughout the document. Section 2.1.1 Content-types, last bullet item Current wording: Apache OpenOffice, and Adobe Flash are emphasized in boldface, Microsoft Office. Suggested change: make the three of them (or none) boldface Section: 2.1.3 DOM Document fragments Current wording: "it is typical in Content Management Systems the generation of fragments of HTML documents that are aggregated into templates to generate a website" Suggested change: "it is typical that Content Management Systems generated HTML document fragments, which are aggregated into templates to generate a website" Section: 2.1.3 DOM Document fragments Suggested change: should the references to DOM be kept, add a link to one of a) DOM webpage at W3C <http://www.w3.org/DOM/>, b) DOM specifications <http://www.w3.org/DOM/DOMTR>, c) the specific definition of DocumentFragment interface in DOM Level 3 <http://www.w3.org/TR/2004/REC-DOM-Level-3-Core-20040407/core.html#ID-B63ED1A3> Regards, Samuel. > Dear Group, > > The latest draft of AERT (working title) for review is here: > - http://www.w3.org/WAI/ER/WD-AERT/ED-AERT > > Please send comments for discussion to the list! > > Regards, > Shadi > > -- > Shadi Abou-Zahra - http://www.w3.org/People/shadi/ > Activity Lead, W3C/WAI International Program Office > Evaluation and Repair Tools Working Group (ERT WG) > Research and Development Working Group (RDWG) > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
