Hi all, I would like to transmit some feedback I recently got while attending DSAI 2013 conference, where I presented a paper which cited our work on AERT (working acronym :-) ) Currently, the title reads “Guidance on the development and assessment of web accessibility evaluation tools”. The day after my presentation, a person inquired me why the title talked about “assessment”. My answer was mainly that: - The document will provide a series of features that evaluation tools may have, and a set of profiles against which evaluation tools may be matched. Maybe the last part is what is related to the assessment. - The title had recently changed to add that word (which is true indeed, I had just needed to change my slides as I noticed the change while I was preparing them). - The work I had presented was mainly focused on providing some guidance to developers, other people at the WG might provide a more appropriate answer. Anyway, I would like to raise that point, just in case the motivation for the “assessment” part would not be clear enough, or the wording could be more precise. Regards, Samuel.
