[CC'ing Al Gilman, chair of PFWG] Hi, The WAI Protocols and Formats WG (PFWG) [1] is looking into schema-based checking of Web applications that use the WAI-ARIA semantics [2]. They will be looking into some of the new Semantic Web technologies such as GRDDL [3], SPARQL [4] and RIF [5] to accomplish this. There is no concrete pointer right now (Task Force or project page etc) but we will be informed as soon as this work gets under way. I think we should be monitoring this work as it evolves.
