Dear WCAG WG, As you know, the WCAG/ERT "WCAG 2.0 Test Samples Development Task Force" (TSD TF) [1] has recently launched. The group is currently forming and setting up tools and processes to store and publish the WCAG 2.0 Test Samples. Part of the groups task is to define a format for a metadata that describes the test samples. For example, the metadata may contain information about the intended outcome after executing the test procedure (from WCAG 2.0 Techniques) on a specific test sample. The group is currently looking into adopting the "Test Case Description Language" (TCDL) [2] which has been developed by the BenToWeb project [3]. It is an XML based vocabulary that is already in use for managing the BenToWeb Test Suites for WCAG 2.0 [4]. We would be happy to hear comments or feedback from participants of the WCAG WG before we take this decision. Please don't hesitate to contact me or Christophe Strobbe if you have any questions regarding this issue.
