Dear all, I have recently developed a Web Accessibility evaluator in a single XSLT file (namely WAEX). You can find it at http://www.it.uc3m.es/vlc/waex.html Though it is only a single XSLT file ... * wcag.xsl is suitable for any XSLT processor. Just download it and test it against the pages you want to evaluate and you will obtain accessibility reports. I render thanks to the public W3C XSLT Servlet for their service. * No need to install specific ad-hoc applications (like HERA, WAVE, WebXACT, ATRC, TAW or similar ones). * By the way, it would be nice if all these tools checked the same things!! ... * Automated checkpoints from W3C's WAI's WCAG (priority 1, 2 and 3) are collected. * Some other automated checkpoints not initially considered in W3C's WCAG are included (at the AAA+ level). * EARL reports could be easily got with simple modifications. (Please, contact me if you are interested on collaborating). * Explanation links are provided justifying each detected barrier. * Customization easily achieved by parameters. * Accessibility reports which are accessible themselves. * Though not suitable for non XHTML, an XHTML repair process can enable XSLT appliance. Please, use the extended interface to experience it if your web page is non XHTML. Best regards. Vicente Luque Centeno Dep.
