Hi, One of the issues that showed up in the last round of structure reviews is that audio or video formats used in test samples are not always listed in the metadata. If the audio or video is essential for the test sample (and this is always the case in our current test samples), the format needs to be listed in the "technology" section, for example: <recommendation xlink:href="http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/forpros/codecs/video.aspx"> <label>Windows Media Video</label> </recommendation> The video formats currently in use are wmv (Windows Media Video) and mov (QuickTime; this QuickTime movie is embedded in a SMIL file referenced by the test file). The audio formats currently in use are wma (Windows Media Audio) and mid (MIDI). (Just three test cases with audio.) I would like to call for a few volunteers to check the test samples (e.g. one or two formats per person; because we use the same naming convention for metadata, test files and additional resources, one only needs to look at the names of the audio/video files to find out which metadata files need checking; they all start with 'sc1.2.' or with 'sc1.4.') and add the metadata where needed.
