Hey James & all, I just wanted to make clear that the idea of explaining what W3C and WAI is near the top of the home page did not come from W3C Comm or WAI or other staff. It came from usability testing earlier in this month. I do know that you should consider input from UT with broader considerations before making decisions. What we learned from the UT about needing to provide the context of W3C makes sense to me and I think to those who observed the UT. I'm happy to talk more about it if anyone wants. ;) I'm not sure the point that it came from UT, not W3C staff, was understood in the call today. From my perspective, it's still not an absolute requirement, yet it is a good approach (unless we later get ideas and evidence otherwise). Hope that helps! Best, ~Shawn
