Hi Alicia, I provided some additional thoughts on choosing a font here: https://github.com/w3c/wai-website-design/issues/52#issuecomment-276815605 As mentioned there, there is a lot of subjectivity going on, and we might be unable to hit all goals (I think it is probably unrealistic to hit them all).
