[for review] updated WAI site redesign

> EOWG: Agenda for 7 January 2005 Teleconference
> 3. Update on WAI Web site redesign
> - see email on EOWG list before the meeting

EOWG,

A partial, rough prototype of the redesigned WAI site is available from:
	http://www.w3.org/2004/09/wai-nav/Overview.html

For a list of which links are live, see the rough draft site map page:
	http://www.w3.org/2004/09/wai-nav/sitemap.html
(some of these may not be updated yet)

The following aspects are ready for review and discussion:
* information architecture (that is, grouping and labeling of pages),
	which can be viewed as a hierarchical list at the rough draft site map page:
	http://www.w3.org/2004/09/wai-nav/sitemap.html )
* general layout and positioning of the home page and the subpages
* navigation design, including accessibility of it
* content of annotated navigation pages

The following is a known bug:
* all pages should have the static navigation (W3C Search, WAI Site Map, WAI Translations, Contacting WAI, About the WAI Site) after the hierarchical navigation, as is on the home page

The following aspects are _NOT_ ready for review and comment, as they are still only a rough draft idea:
* visual design
* style sheet
* logo

To avoid cluttering this EOWG list, please send any typos or corrections that do not need discussion only to the EO Editors list:
	wai-eo-editors@w3.org

Issues for discussion can be sent to this EOWG list.

Regards,

~ Shawn
