"20 percent of U.S. residents speak a language other than English" Came across this in a FITA [1] newsletter today - thought it relevant after our brief discussion of languages yesterday. Prompted me to think further as I think the number is even higher in Australia. And then there is the rest of the world of course ;-) Anyway, the suggestion is that we have a (simpler) intro/overview page that each W3C office in a non-english speaking country [2] translates and that has a list of (officially) translated WAI resources available in that language (and links to the main WAI home page).
