Lexicon Task Force, Now that the new WAI site is out, I'm eager to post some of our new resources, including the lexicon/glossary! :) I incorporated the revisions from a previous EOWG teleconference[1] into the draft version of the Lexicon/Glossary online at: http://www.w3.org/WAI/lexicon/ The changes are listed at: http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/changelogs/cl-lexicon#changes Most of the changes are minor formatting. The major issue is the introduction, which I cut considerably. Questions for discussion on this list: * What needs to be said? Is anything important missing? * Is there any reason to say something like: "A primary purpose is to aid people translating WAI documents." ? * Is there any reason to say something like: "Additional words may be added in the future." ? * On the one hand, it seems we should add a word to the first sentence, such as: "This glossary clarifies the meaning of [some\selected\25\key\...] words used in WAI documents." On the other hand, it's obvious that it's not a comprehensive list, so why clutter the sentence with another word? Please reply to the Lexicon list, this week if possible. Thanks, ~ Shawn (as I think Henk is still on vacation or working out of the country) [1] EOWG Minutes 3 June 2005: http://www.w3.org/2005/06/03-eo-minutes.html#item02
