Hello all, Please find below the entries from the ATAG glossary I selected. Beside each entry I wrote one comment in square brackets on the descriptions corresponding to each entry. When I wrote [ok], it means that I agree with the description. Otherwise, there is a comment. I have some questions/thoughts regarding some entries going from a-h that is why I added them also to the list. They are marked with ? regards Sylvie List of words from the ATAG glossary+comments on descriptions: - Attribute: [description clear in the context of ATAG. But it is not precise enough in the general context of a document for translators.] - Audio Description : [ok] - ?Captions: [ok. I thought "captions" had remained in our selection of words for the beginner's glossary as it was selected by 7 people.] - ?Conversion: [is it the same as conversion tools?] - ?Device-independent action: [is it the same as device-independent? Not clear enough.] - Equivalent (or equivalent alternative): [ok, but I do not understand the sentence: "The text alternative is considered accessible because it can be rendered in many different ways (e.g. as synthesized speech for individuals who have visual or learning disabilities, as Braille for individuals who are blind, as graphical text for individuals who are deaf or do not have a disability)."] - Repairing, Accessibility: [ok] - transcript: [description may be too complicated.] - Techniques: [ok] - user Agent: [ok]
