Hi, Refs: - <http://www.w3.org/WAI/demos/bad/draft/2009/tmp/survey_before> - <http://www.w3.org/WAI/demos/bad/draft/2009/tmp/survey_after> I've updated the survey page, based on previous input and discussion: - reduced the redundancy in the examples for barriers in forms - changed questions to match "city parks teaser" on the homepage This page is intended to primarily show the following barriers: - missing labels for form controls (questions 1, 2, and 3) - controls and descriptions not in context (question 1) - unnecessary drop-down combo box (questions 2 and 3) - overly complex selection matrix despite labels (question 4) - no reset button, and submit is at an unexpected location - it is unclear if any input fields are required, if at all - TBD: the form script will output cryptic messages and highlight missing input using color only (no redundant indication) The visual styling (especially on the after version) still needs a lot of cleaning up (and the scripts are missing) but I'd like to get some input on the demonstrated barriers and repairs. Note: I'm concerned that we may be promoting people to think that combo boxes are not allowed. Any ideas of showing an inaccessible versus an accessible combo box? -Maybe one that is not sorted versus one that is sorted and grouped using option group elements?
