Hi friends, As promised I produced a generator for the Accessibility Responsibility Breakdown that WAI-Engage produced five years ago. I was bothered that success criteria were listed by references ("1.1.1.", "1.2.1.", etc.) and thought something had to be done, especially for the layperson who is not fluent with WCAG numbers (me, for instance ;)). So I started from what was available on the Wiki [1] and coupled it with Karl Groves's "WCAG as JSON"[2], and then: 1. converted the original Wiki table to JSON, and then after combining the two, extracted titles, levels, etc. 2. produced LibreOffice and Excel files 3. finally, produced a plain HTML table for anyone who wants plain (duh). This is now all automated, based on PHP. And hackable at will for anyone who fancies it. The project is on Github [3] and the resulting files are yours for the taking in the Output folder [4]. As you will see, ODS and XLSX files are not as beautiful as if I had worked natively in LibreOffice and Excel, but they are useable as-is. Of course anyone can use them and customise them (for instance at Orange France we aim for AA compliance, so I will only have to filter AA on the Level column to help teams manage accessibility as projects go). I have submitted a workshop proposal to Paris Web to add WCAG2.1 to the mix, considering WCAG2.1 is due this summer and Paris Web will happen in October. Thanks to WAI-engage for having started it and to Karl Groves for having done the heavy lifting.
