gathering more business cases and highlighting the updates to Mobile Accessibility Resources

Dear WAI-Engage:

Some of you may have seen the message, below,
regarding the updates to Mobile resources. The
message has been circulating today.

In particular, I wanted to bring a couple of
items to the attention of the WAI-Engage group. Please especially note this:

Related information on the WAI-Engage wiki:

overlap - Social Networking Application Business Case

and

"Share Resources Supporting the Web Accessibility
Business Case":
<http://www.w3.org/QA/2009/12/share_resources_supporting_the.html>

I'd like to take this opportunity to encourage
those in this community group to actively help
identify potential business cases and work with
companies and organizations to post descriptions
of them to the WAI-Engage Wiki, as Peter has so
generously done. As we know, it is via stories
like these that others are encouraged to commit
to accessibility. Peter's experiences are
valuable and illustrate that companies will
listen when we meet them where they are.

I look forward to reading on this list about your
efforts and seeing more success stories posted to the Wiki.

It occurs to me, for example, that those who are
attending the many "accessibility camps" that are
being held over the next few months are sure to
hear of successes worth sharing.

Best,
Jennifer
