Hello dear TF participants, As said before, I bring you some updates for you to take a look at instead of our regular meeting. We will be returning to our weekly meetings schedule 16 November. Please provide your feedback if you disagree or have further suggestions related to the below. - Removal of redundant information in designer modules overview page Https://wai-curricula.netlify.app/curricula/designer-modules/#introduction After the July survey, and based on EOWG comments, we added: "These modules have been organized to facilitate teaching designers and developers together. If you are teaching in other environments, feel free to change the structure so that it fits your audience needs." That information is already conveyed in the example uses of the curricula front-page. The new structure makes the connection to designers stronger and clearer. EOWG agreed we should remove this. - Reworded last learning outcome in module Visual Design, topic Orientation Cues Https://wai-curricula.netlify.app/curricula/designer-modules/visual-design/#topic-orientation-cues This is to better explain that orientation cues should be provided using a variety of methods (not just one), including color, vision, and text. - Keep target size as part of topic Flexible Layouts Https://wai-curricula.netlify.app/curricula/designer-modules/visual-design/#topic-flexible-layouts There was a comment on whether target size is flexible. New wording made EOWG agree with keeping it there as a pointer, but they recommended us to expand coverage of target sizes, for example in topic Form elements. Thank you for your great feedback. I wish we can talk next week at the regular time now that Europe and US clocks have both gone back an hour. Best. -- Daniel Montalvo Accessibility Education and Training Specialist W3C/WAI
