Hello Task Force participants, There will be no meeting February 2. Instead, we would like to ask you to take a look at the curricula overview page. It has changed a bit since we last discussed it in the TF. Please provide any objections you may have to its current state before Thursday February 4. If there are no objections by then, we plan to launch the approval to publish survey for that page later this week. See specifics below. Overview page -- ready for approval to publish? https://wai-curricula.netlify.app/curricula/ EOWG has suggested some more tweaks to that page, which we have now integrated. No significant changes, but some info has been shortened a bit and put in slightly different places. Main changes include: - A general pass to tighten and tersify. - Changed titles to better communicate contents in each of the sections: Now we have: - Using these Curricula (previously Overview) - Contents - Structure and Terminology - Essentials for Teaching Accessibility (previously Tips) - Added information about specific modules according to the different situations proposed under bullets in "Using these curricula" (this was previously in a paragraph under the older "How to use" section) - Under Essentials, there is now a bulleted list instead of subheadings. - [Added] under essentials, fourth bullet. "Approach accessibility holistically. -- Communicate accessibility as part of the broader umbrella of inclusion and diversity [...]." Please also take time to complete the Developer Modules approval to publish survey. Thanks to those who already completed it! Survey is at https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35532/developer-modules-approval-to-publish/ Thank you all for your valuable feedback. Best. -- Daniel Montalvo Accessibility Education and Training Specialist W3C/WAI
