Hey David, Thanks for filling in the survey. Comments and proposals below. You can see a preview of my proposed changes at https://deploy-preview-241--wai-curricula.netlify.app/curricula/developing-accessible-content/ There you can navigate the different modules and topics. This is a life draft which I will be updating based on Task Force feedback. The editor's draft (now frozen for people to review), continues to be at https://wai-curricula.netlify.com/curricula/developing-accessible-content/ > > --------------------------------- > > Module 4: Tabular Information > > > > ---- > > Please focus on Module 4: Tabular Information > > * Are all points covered - is anything missing? > > * Is there anything in there that should not be in there? > > * Do you agree with the overall topic structure? > > Please focus on Learning outcomes for module 4 and contrast them with > > the learning outcomes for each of the topics in the module. I think that sortable tables are so common these days that I would treat them in a module on tabular information rather than in > widgets. Sortable tables have now been added to topic "Complex tables". There is mention in the introductory paragraph, there are learning outcomes, a teaching idea and an idea to assess knowledge. Is that the kind of content you expected? Any other suggestion to refine these additions? > > --------------------------------- > > Module 5: Forms and Input Elements > > > > ---- > > Please focus on Module 5: Forms and Input Elements > > * Are all points covered - is anything missing? > > * Is there anything in there that should not be in there? > > * Do you agree with the overall topic structure? > > Please focus on Learning outcomes for module 5 and contrast them with > > the learning outcomes for each of the topics in the module. I have also added in teaching ideas of that topic, second bullet, a warning that the value of the placeholder disappears after the user enters a value. I also have added reference *not* to rely on placeholder for labels in the topic "Form labels" teaching ideas, first bullet. > I was surprised to see time limits addressed in this module, as time limits need not specifically apply to pages with forms. But maybe it's the best > place for this sub-topic. I thought so. In the current teaching sequence that we are building, it seemed like the first (and most apparent) place where it fits for me. I definitely see other scenarios such as dynamic updates or time-based content that is shown or hidden, and we could add references to time limits also for those scenarios. Do you think it should go first in the sequence? Later on? > Topic: Form Labels, Learning Outcomes—missing code markup for "for" in the first bullet point This has now been added. > > --------------------------------- > > Module 6: Widgets > > > > ---- > > Please focus on Module 6: Widgets > > * Are all points covered - is anything missing? > > * Is there anything in there that should not be in there? > > * Do you agree with the overall topic structure? > > Please focus on Learning outcomes for module 6 and contrast them with > > the learning outcomes for each of the topics in the module. I do agree that this module looks very theoretical, in contrast with the other ones. I would like to fix that in this very module. I am not sure what you are missing. Is it more examples on how to code custom components? Maybe changing the title to something like "Custom widgets" or "Custom components" to convey the idea that this is something the developer needs to create themselves rather than just implement some given semantics? Are you missing additional topics on specific types of custom widgets and detailed instructions on how to code them? > > --------------------------------- > > Module 3: Images and Graphics > > > > ---- > > Please focus on Module 3: Images and Graphics > > * Are all points covered - is anything missing? > > * Is there anything in there that should not be in there? > > * Do you agree with the overall topic structure? > > Please focus on Learning outcomes for module 3 and contrast them with > > the learning outcomes for each of the topics in the module.
