RE: [wbs] response to 'WAI Curricula Dragonfly Review for learning outcomes in modules and topics'

Not yet. I will ask Shawn for that. In the meantime, we have a dedicated meeting link. This is why I offer you to try it in advance so that you can make sure everything works.

Best.

Hello Daniel,

Perfect!

I hope that today I do not have problems with the connection.

The only problem was the password issue are we using the same Zoom link as for the Fridays call? Because in this case I am sure that I will not have problems.

Best,

Thanks Estella:

Now I understand. I thought you were linking this knowledge to the table we have at

https://www.w3.org/WAI/curricula/#future-outline

Yes we are having the call this afternoon. We will go through this changes, together with some others from Shadi’s input.

I will be sending details later today (Europe-wise 😊).

please tell me if you want me to try the Zoom link with you before the meeting so that we are all set up.

Thanks.

Hello Daniel,

My pleasure and thanks for the comments.

I agree with all your comments and as mentioned in the survey any consideration I leave it to editor's discretion.

Regarding the dynamic table, I refer to tables in webpages with no fix information. Meaning that values are not always the same but can be updated.

Are we having the weekly call this afternoon?

Thanks!

Yes, we aim at face-to-face, online, and blended learnin for the whole curricula project. Is there anything that you miss for blended learnin in this particular sections?

Thanks for pointing to this! I have taken a pass on these bullets and they are now:

* Keyboard-only users.
* Users with visual disabilities.
* High contrast users.
* Users with motor disabilities.
* Users with hearing disabilities.
* Users with cognitive disabilities.
* Older people.

- - Users of screen readers and magnification are now together under users with visual disabilities.
- Older people have been added.
- All instances of "Impairments" have been changed to "disabilities" in these bullets.

Good point! I would include this in the first module, "Page Structure". Language identification and language change markup are important in navigational elements but are also important in other structural elements such as paragraphs, quotes, list, etc. Anyway, open to discussion.

I think the details about sufficient contrast fall under the designer's plate. I don't see it as a learning outcome for a developer, but definitely it is something they should be aware of. Maybe we could include something in the teaching ideas along the lines of "Ask your designer to provide you with sufficient options to meet main contrast ratios".

I am not really sure if the table you mention could be considered dynamic. Instead, I would consider it complex, as there are a bunch of cells expanding through columns and rows. Could you please expand on this a little bit?
