Feedback on Group Coordination document

Hi All,

Below are some thoughts and feedback I had on the Group Coordination <https://www.w3.org/WAI/cc/wiki/Group_Coordination> document that was introduced in the call yesterday.

Note that I tend to read most things with a ‘if I knew little’ perspective. This is partly in consideration of ensuring that materials are supportive of new people joining and partly because my memory is terribly poor and spelling things out and linking to mentioned resources just makes my life much easier.

Thoughts and questions:

Would be good to have a section that guides people on where to send things. This might be a link to an existing ‘Contacting WAI CC’ page or a section that provides the specifics.
The First editor’s draft before publication is missing a specific timeline.
It is not clear what the expected turn around time for reviews are - this may be a tricky one as it will depend. It might need something that indicates that CC will commit to providing a review timeline within a week of receiving a submission. Or some such.
This doesn’t really talk about the review process itself. Is that already documented elsewhere?
Could do with a link to the ‘normal appeal procedures on chair decisions’.
There is no mention of cataloguing work. Would be good to instil this as a requirement on editors. This could be in the What we are working on <https://www.w3.org/WAI/update/> page or on a private wiki - actually this would help to increase transparency of work across the WGs and TFs and reduce email hell?
What is meant by ‘tangible harm’ and who is the arbitrator of this? Also, harm to whom?
What happens if the only proposal for changes to avoid harm is to not publish at all?

Thanks

Kevin
