Hi all, <my EOWG and WAI outreach coordinator perspective> EOWG wants to make sure in these videos nothing is *wrong* or misleading. We want to make them as good as feasible -- within the constraints (primarily time). Much of the content will be subjective, for example, there are many options for each video and we will probably choose only one for each, based on diversity in the set. Because they are videos, it is difficult and costly (usually prohibitedly) to make changes once they are set. Therefore, EOWG is giving everyone an opportunity to review and comment on the draft scripts -- in order to get any input before the videos are set. EOWG is already getting a lot of input to process. <+ LVTF hat> It would be good if Chris and Jonathan would monitor the <public-wai-cc> list for updates. And when there are videos related to low vision, then inform the LVTF (for either coordinated or individual review and comments). I am adding Brent to the CC: so you have his email address. Brent, in case you didn't have this info, Chris and Jon Avila are the new co-facilitators of the Low Vision Task Force (LVTF). > > I am asking from the Silver perspective, but I would encourage you to contact Brent about reviewing from the LVTF perspective. Of course, they both could have the same responses which saves you the hassle of trying to make two entries (which is challenging). If it would be helpful, you could bring any specific WCAG3 issues to a Silver meeting and I can include it in a group response. We are working out how to work together with your new role, and I may stumble a bit before we get it all running smoothly. Thank you for keeping the communication going, as I hadn't thought of your dual role on this survey. > > jeanne > > > > On 5/27/2021 1:10 PM, Christopher Loiselle wrote: >> >> Hi Jeanne, >> >> Did you want us to review from a low vision task force perspective, or from a visual contrast of text sub group / sliver perspective ? >> >> Please let me know and I can move forward with speaking to Jon or speaking with Bruce and Andy. >> >> Per the quick review of the link, review is being asked of 1.3.1, 1.3.3., 1.3.5, as well as 2.1.1, 2.1.2, 2.1.3, 2.1.4, 2.3.1 and 2.3.2 , thus wanted to understand what made more sense. Each of you are the confirmed representative for your group in charge of distributing the survey. Please distribute the following survey and closing date information to individuals, or work directly with your group/task force to review the scripts and provide consolidated feedback via one person completing the survey. Either method is fine.
