Hi All, WAI CC meeting [1] prompted me to raise awareness of the following WAI resources: * Older Users and Web Accessibility: Meeting the Needs of Ageing Web Users https://www.w3.org/WAI/older-users/ * Developing Websites for Older People: How Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Applies https://www.w3.org/WAI/older-users/developing/ * Overview of “Web Accessibility for Older Users: A Literature Review” https://www.w3.org/WAI/older-users/literature/ Best, ~Shawn [1] https://www.w3.org/2021/06/16-waicc-minutes.html Jeanne: The groups working on cognitive related guidelines work on addressing this. Things like consistent navigation, captchas, etc. It is important and hope it will continue to be a big part of WCAG 3 ... Not specifically addressing the elderly, it is more woven in. Not aware of any age related guidelines, but can address if it comes up. <Judy> [INPUT TO WAI EXT MTG -- age-related aspects of WAI guidelines]
