RE: agenda+ W3C calendar accessibility

I’ve used the beta version of the W3C Calendar with more than one screen reader. I don’t recall noticing substantial accessibility issues arising from my usage. On some occasions, the automatic e-mail announcements were delayed or not received (by me, that is). However, this may have been attributable to the infrastructural issues that the W3C was then experiencing with its storage services, or to the operation of e-mail filtering by my employer’s service provider.
It would be useful to be able to add another W3C group to the list of invitees to which a notification is sent, or to add designated individuals (e.g., if the Chair invites one or more guests into a meeting). I’m not sure whether this is supported at present; I may have missed the relevant control if so. However, this is a matter of functionality rather than accessibility. Also, problems have been reported that involve forwarding of calendar-generated invitations by e-mail. However, I don’t have the full facts, so I can’t comment in detail on the circumstances or on any solutions or work-arounds that may be available.
I should add that I have not reviewed the W3C Calendar for accessibility issues. I’ve only used it (hastily, I admit) to create or update events. It’s entirely possible that my usage patterns simply haven’t revealed the problems, or that they’re considerably worse for people with different access needs or different assistive technologies. I’m only making claims about my personal usage here, not about the accessibility of the application over-all.

Subject: agenda+ W3C calendar accessibility

While the developers of the W3C calendar requested accessibility review prior to deployment, some people are finding issues now that we're starting to use it in practice. It would be useful to review and prioritize them together.
