invitation

Dear colleagues,

HCI International 2013 will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, 21-26 July 2013 (http://www.hcii2013.org<http://www.hcii2013.org/>).

The organizers asked us to invite 7 prospective authors (academics, researchers and practitioners known in the field for their acknowledged work) to submit paper contributions for a parallel session. We decided to organize such a session and to focus on "New media in the hands of different generations: Accessible digital information for all" and would like to ask you to be one of these experts. We invite you to present literature reviews and/ or empirical research focusing on one of the following topics:
· the way(s) younger people find, access and/or use digital information
· the way(s) older people find, access and/or use digital information
· differences/similarities related to the way(s) younger and older people find, access and/or use digital information.

We hope that you will participate and present a paper at our parallel session. Papers will be reviewed, and accepted papers will be published by Springer in a multi-volume set. Papers will appear in volumes of the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) and Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence (LNAI) series.

Please send an email to e.f.loos@uva.nl<mailto:e.f.loos@uva.nl> and jbergstrom@forsmarshgroup.com<mailto:jbergstrom@forsmarshgroup.com> no later than Thursday 19 April 2012 to let us know if you accept our invitation and what the title of your paper will be. We are looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Best wishes,
