Dear EOWG and WAI-AGE The ISO series covering usability includes ISO 13407 which is being redrafted as ISO 9241-210 Human-centred design for interactive systems - the draft is available for £10[1]. It makes significant references to accessibility. There are also 3 new ones from the 9241 series which cover various aspects of accessibility published last year: ISO 9241-20:2008 Accessibility guidelines for information/communication technology (ICT) equipment and services. ISO 9241-171:2008 Guidance on software accessibility ISO 9241-151:2008 Guidance on World Wide Web user interfaces They may be helpful on giving the outside perspective on the relationship between usability and accessibility and opportunities for harmonisation. Hope this helps Suzette [1]http://shop.bsigroup.com/en/ProductDetail/?pid=000000000030186636
