A second interpretation is that you want to keep the AB delegation to the CG, but are recommending that the CG use a different set of tools to propose revisions. In that case, the CG would need to reach consensus, and the opinions of the task force Chair (Steve), document editor (Chaals McCathie Nevile), and CG Chair (Chaals McCathie Nevile) would be influential. This interpretation is what I intended. The AB has collaborated with the Process CG on revising the process document, but the recent Tuesday 7am Pacific teleconferences have not had much attendance by those who aren’t on the AB (except for Steve Z of course). The completion (or failure, whatever TimBL decides) of the Process 2015 discussions make this a good time to re-boot the process CG’s own process to take into consideration alternative work modes such as that of the WebApps WG http://www.w3.org/2008/webapps/wiki/WorkMode and the soon-to-be-started Web Platform Incubator CG http://w3c.github.io/charter-html/incubator-cg-charter.html
