Reminder. We have 3 responses from this group, and would appreciate more. W3C *will* structure a significant amount of Advisory Committee meeting (the people we have to convince for any change to the Process document or Patent Policy) based on the responses to this survey, so I do urge people to respond. In particular, I think it is helpful to have comments on the issues as stated - I found that some issues shouldn't be discussed because they are obvious, and some because they are not going to go anywhere, so understanding people's thoughts on the questions raised is probably more helpful than just a number about whether something should be on the agenda. (thanks to those who have responded, by the way). cheers On Thu, 22 Mar 2012 15:24:17 +0100, Charles McCathieNevile <chaals@opera.com> wrote: > Hi, > > There is a survey[1] available for this group (thanks Coralie), which I > would like people to complete. > > It seeks input on which topics from the list published by Steve Zilles > for the Advisory Board[2] should be discussed by the W3C Members (the > people who eventually decide on what changes they accept to the Process > Document, and some other key things like Patent Policy). > > This is not the only form of input - several of us are monitoring this > list as well - but it is exactly the same questions that all W3C chairs > and AC representatives are being asked, so we can at least compare > easily when building a preliminary agenda. > > The question asks how important is each of various topics to discuss, > and there is a comment form where I suggest you put any comments or > further details for the given topics. > > If you are also an AC rep (e.g. me) or a chair (e.g. me) you don't need > to fill it out multiple times, but forwarding a copy of what you said to > the different groups might be helpful (I will do so for my answers). > Results of the survey are available to participants in the group. > > [1] https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/50503/CGPDconcerns/ > [2] > http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-archive/2012Mar/att-0007/AB_List_of_Concerns-20120306.htm > > cheers > > Chaals > -- Charles 'chaals' McCathieNevile Opera Software, Standards Group je parle français -- hablo español -- jeg kan noen norsk http://my.opera.com/chaals Try Opera: http://www.opera.com
