The BD Comics Manga Community Group has been proposed by Laurent Le Meur: Motion Comics, Web Comics, Visual novels, Interactive Manga, Webtoon, Turbomedia, Parallax strip, Still motion art ... all digital variants of visual narratives share a common underlying model, which must be clearly expressed before a universal publication format can be designed and released as a Web standard. The mission of the BD Comics Manga Community Group (*) is to study and document, for all kinds of visual narratives expressed digitally, a common conceptual model and associated sets of controlled values. (*) Bande dessinée, Comics, Manga are terms broadly used for sequential art in Europe, USA and Asia; this underlies the global scope of the study. You are invited to support the creation of this group. Once the group has a total of five supporters, it will be launched and people can join to begin work. In order to support the group, you will need a W3C account. Once launched, the group will no longer be listed as "proposed"; it will be in the list of current groups. If you believe that there is an issue with this group that requires the attention of the W3C staff, please send us email on site-comments@w3.org Thank you, W3C Community Development Team ---------- This post sent on Community and Business Groups 'Proposed Group: BD Comics Manga Community Group' https://www.w3.org/community/blog/2018/10/26/proposed-group-bd-comics-manga-community-group/ Learn more about the Community and Business Groups: https://www.w3.org/community
