Weekly digest of W3C news and trends: Role Attribute 1.0, Unreal Engine 3 on the Web, DRM in HTML5, …

This is the 22-29 March 2013 edition of a “weekly digest of W3C news and  
trends" that the W3C Communications Team prepares for the W3C Membership  
and public-w3c-digest mailing list (publicly archived [1]) [sent  
separately]. This digest aggregates information about W3C from online  
media, a snapshot of how W3C and its work is perceived in online media.

Notably this week :

- 800 stories about W3C on Twitter in 7 days.
- over 5500 mentions of W3C in 7 days, with a peak on 27 Mar (1000  
mentions), the top story on that day was the EFF’s piece 9 days ago  
“Defend the Open Web: Keep DRM Out of W3C Standards”.
- 17 posts that dlvr.it posted between Mar 17 - Mar 24 got 28.1K clicks  
and reached 67K connections.

- With 57901 Twitter followers, net increase of 430 followers in the past  
week.
